Susan has extensive experience in managing and expanding operations across the Asia-Pacific region and is Lehman Walsh’s dedicated APAC client manager. Leveraging a deep understanding of regional markets, Susan excels in assisting our client’s strategic growth and fostering cross-cultural collaborations in the provision of legal advice.
Graduating with a Juris Doctor from the University of New South Wales, Susan has worked as a solicitor, specialising in property and construction litigation and general dispute resolution. Her international experience in Taiwan (and Poland) during her bachelor's studies has further refined her cross-cultural capabilities. Throughout her career, Susan has successfully led initiatives in market entry, business development, and regulatory compliance, positioning organisations for sustained success in diverse and dynamic environments.
Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese, she is adept at navigating cultural nuances and building robust relationships with stakeholders, international Investors and Chinese Corporate and Construction clients. She is regarded for her innovative approach to client and case management as well as her commitment to excellence.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Susan actively participates in industry forums and contributes insights on emerging trends within the APAC region.
Her strategic vision and operational expertise make her an invaluable asset to any organisation aiming to thrive and expand in the Asia-Pacific market or those looking to enter the Australian market and navigating the various legal requirements.
Given her capacity, Susan was appointed as the Honorary Secretary of the Australia China Business Council (NSW) Property and International Investment Committee, where she plays a vital role in bridging cultural and business gaps through her exemplary communication and multilingual abilities.
She is made available to assist other team members within Lehman Walsh, offering services to clients operating in the APAC and related regions.
